Pan African Youth Federaton as an umbrella body for youth organizations in Africa premised on the notion that youth have an integral role to play in the development of their respective nations It aims to see a positioned and defined leadership structure at community, national, regional and global developmental level. We are committed to the principles of good governance, transparency and zero tolerance towards any wrongdoing in any context. The PAYF has adapted its structures and procedures in order to meet the evolving needs of the federation’s governance and respond to the increasing complexity of its functions and operations

 

THE PRESIDENT

The PAYF President holds the highest office at PAYF. She/he is elected for four years by The PAYF congress which is consist of PAYF members. The PAYF President’s rights and duties are set forth in the PAYF Statutes.

 

PAYF CONGRESS “GENERAL ASSEMBLY” 

According to the statutes, the PAYF Congress is the organization’s supreme body. Numerous articles dictate which items are to be discussed and which decisions are to be passed at this forum as the legislative body of world youth parliament.

 

EXECUTIVE BOARD

As the African youth governing body, PAYF must take into account a wide range of developments and other factors and decide on numerous issues in accordance with the PAYF Statutes and regulations. The strategy is determined by the PAYF Executive Board chaired by the PAYF President, a forum where senior officials can directly influence the decision-making process since each has its own representation under the PAYF Statutes. The executive’s decisions are guided by the recommendations of six commissions.

 

IYF COMMISSIONS

Under the Executive Board comes the professional PAYF commissions as administration level to implements the decisions passed by the PAYF Congress through the Executive Board.
