Accreditation is a procedure to support youth organizations that want to take part in Youth Engagement Strategy. It is designed to ensure consistently high standards in Youth Engagement Strategy and to help organizations find partners. Accreditation is a quality assurance process facilitating communication between the organization and programme structures, partners and the international community so that all parties involved are aware of the values, objectives, and rules of the AYF.
What is AYF Accreditation?
All accredited organizations must show they are able to actively participate in youth initiatives, projects. Accreditation is an organization’s entry for GYES, and proves that it complies with the programme’s world quality standards.

Who can apply for Accreditation?
In principle, every youth organization which is a legal entity can submit an application for accreditation status with AYF. There are no formal constraints. As part of the application process, applicants shall demonstrate compliance with scheme specific accreditation requirements to become accredited.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a legal organization/entity and currently active.
- Be a Youth-led organization or serving young people through projects and activities.
- Public bodies at local, regional and national levels.
- Non-profit organizations /NGOs/Associations/Social Enterprises.
- Community Interest Companies (CIC), Charitable Incorporated Organization (CIO) or Registered Youth charities.

Accreditation Logo: There is no better way to practitioner professionalism and showing global orientation in the field of youth than by use of AYF “Accredited Organization” eye-catching logo. All Registrants must agree to the registration terms and conditions to grant them the license of using the logo.
